Lakes Disc Golf Club Plamann Park, Appleton This is a beautiful well maintained park with lots of elevation change. This 27 hole course is well laid out. Plamann will be one of the fine courses featured at the 1998 Amateur World Championships. For the latest on club happenings visit The Official Fox Cities Disc Golf Page by John Dorn Telulah Park, Appleton This course is very accessible and very cool. Baraboo This course new in 1996 has a sweet layout offering a mix of hills, woods and open holes including one 630 foot monster hole. A very fun course thanks to the Baraboo Lions Club. Tower Ridge, Eau Claire This is a tough, long and challenging eighteen hole course, new in 1996 it is a must stop for disc golf fiends traveling to or from the Twin Cities. Lime-Kiln Park, Grafton A neat 9-hole course in a nice setting. Green Bay Green Bay now has a nice new course. The course features an 18 hole hilly layout with Mach III targets. The course is located at Triangle Sports Area. SilverCreek Park, Manitowoc This is great new course in a beautiful and well maintained park. With hills, a creek, teepads and more. Dretzka Park, Milwaukee Dretzka is a well maintained park. Most holes have more than one pin placement for lots of variety. Site of the Rumbletown Classic and The Real Ice Bowl. Look here for directions and How The Course Plays. Discberry has done a great map at the GLDGC site. Elver Park, Madison One of our better courses. Elevation change, lots of trees and neat views all make for great disc golf. For more on the Madison scene check out Discover Wisconsin page. Fond du Lac This is a new nine hole course complete with concrete tee pads. The course is at Adelaide Park , which is located on Hickory Street between Johnson Street (Hwy 23) and Scott Street in Fond du Lac (exit West on Hwy 23 off of Hwy 41, and take a left on Hickory St). Hiestand Disc Golf Course, Madison One of our newest and finest courses has Mach III baskets and Am and Pro tees with 6' x 12' concrete tee pads. The course plays 6200' and from the short tees, 4700'. The park has rolling hills, a forest of old trees, elevation changes, and an awesome view of Lake Monona and our state capitol from hole #14. Vallarta-Ast Disc Golf Course Token Creek, Sun Prairie This course new in 2001 is the bomb! Beautiful groomed fairways, dual concrete tees, and three pin placements for each hole offer some of the most enjoyable disc golf found anywhere! This is a pay for play course $4 and well worth it. North Wood County Park, Marshfield Actually near Pittsville (if you can find it on a map) This is a cool course in a neat old park which features 30's era WPA stone buildings and bridges. Half of the 18 holes are wooded, while the others are mostly open. Great camping is available on site. O'Hauser Park, Menasha This is another Fox valley course which will be used for the 1998 Amateur World Championships. It has a shorter layout and some open and wooded holes. It is much tighter than Plaumman New London There is supposed to be an objective course here, more to follow. Rice Lake The Campus Greens disc golf course has recently added 9 holes for a 18 hole disc golf course in Rice Lake, Wisconsin on the campus of the University of Wisconsin Barron County. The front 9 is pretty wide open, flat, and pretty long, while the new back 9 tends to include more shorter holes with much more topography. UW campus, Platteville This course is a real surprise. The layout is a little funky but is a blast with steep hills and short tricky shots. The course now has concrete tees. The course is a little hard to find just behind the dorms. Worth the stop. Twin Oaks, Plymouth A nine
hole course right behind the High School. Its been there for over
a year. Gravel tees. Vollrath Park, Sheboygan Very nice park on the shore of Lake Michigan. This is the oldest Wisconsin course and plays up/down and across some deep valleys for a thrilling round. Vollrath has just been reinstalled with a bit of a face lift. When in Sheboygan visit The Shack at Vollrath for your golf disc needs. The Quarry, Sheboygan Sheboygan's other course located at Jaycee Park. Mead Park, Stevens Point This course is a nine hole course. It is in a well maintained park on the Wisconsin River. We have lots of leagues and do lessons for those interested. Find out more of what's happening in Stevens Point. McDill Pond, Stevens Point this course is out of the ground since the city is dredging McDill Pond. The future of this site is yet to be determined. Standing Rocks Park Stevens Point This is a county Park located east of Plover off of Hiway B follow the signs. It is hilly and tight with some very pretty holes. You can access a map to locate the course Give Randy a call 715-341-6668 if you're coming through. Plans are to expand this to eighteen holes. Yulga Park, Stevens Point We are all excited about having a tough bigarm course in the area. This park can be found by taking 66 east from town, turn N on Torun Rd then West on Wycjok Memorial. Course is on the left near the end. You can access a map to locate the course It is a pro level eighteen hole course that meanders through pine and oak forests. Call Randy 715-341-6668 if you are coming by. Picnic Hill, Two Rivers This is a new and challenging eighteen hole course. A great natural setting in a beautiful woods. South Wood County Park, Wisconsin Rapids A new nine hole course is in the ground. It's a fun short course with dual tees. |
